My name is Seth, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing the toughest battle of my life. Over the past year, my health has declined rapidly. My pancreas has stopped working, and I’ve lost over 100 pounds in less than a year. I live with severe EPI and constant, unexplained abdominal pain. Even though I’m only 39, I now require pain management and specialized procedures like a plexus block just to get through the day.
I’m being treated by top doctors at Cleveland Clinic, but the journey has been overwhelming. I’ve struggled to keep working, but my health has forced me to transition to disability. The bills keep coming—medical expenses, rent, and car payments—while I travel back and forth to Cleveland and Akron for appointments. It’s a lot to manage, and I’m scared I won’t be able to afford the care I need or keep up with basic living costs.
I want to get through this. I want to survive and reclaim the life that’s been stolen from me by these health challenges. My mother has told me she’s scared they won’t figure out what’s wrong and that she could lose me. That’s why I’m determined to keep fighting and get the answers I need. I’m asking for help so I can focus on getting better. Any support you can give would mean the world to me as I work to recover and rebuild my life.
