Help Seth & Christina rebuild from Marshall Fire
Donation protected
On December 30th, Seth & Christina lost their home in the Marshall Fire. They saw and smelled the smoke and when ashes began to fall, they rushed out with only two small suitcases and a few memories they could carry. They were thankfully able to get to safety with their two pups, Milo & Bailey. Sadly, everything else has been lost including their beloved lizard, Molly.
They have called Louisville home for over 10 years and this home has been a place many of us have gathered making memories from their famed crawfish boils & back patio beers. It held many tales of and mementos from their worldly travels, adventures, and friendships. One of which, a sun from Mt. Ranier, that Seth was able to find in the debris & place on a branch in front.
You couldn't find kinder more giving people than these two. Many of you have asked how to best support them during this difficult time, so we've started this page to help them recover & show our support. The funds will go directly to The Risemans to replace things they have lost.
In addition to donations, if you'd be up for an outdoor beer/hang out/ski/hike, reach out to them directly :)

Update: While Christina and Seth thought they had sufficient insurance coverage immediately after they lost their home, they are quickly realizing that the current re-build costs are significantly higher than expected due to post-pandemic costs, etc.
