Seth Boomhover fell from a 3rd tier scaffolding 30+ feet up on 11/20/25. He rode it like a wave until he felt safe to jump out at around 10/15 feet and crushed his right heel ankle and foot. For anyone who knows us you know his job is all about being on his feet and driving. He was rushed into surgery and it looks like a long road to recovery; he's in the hospital waiting for another surgery as of 11/21/25 but will most likely be coming home with rods sticking out of his foot and leg for 2 weeks until the swelling goes down for the surgery. It's been 2 years of absolute torture with building this garage...from having over 10k stolen by a contractor...a contractor never showing up and when he did he did everything wrong and we had to pay other people to fix it...to now this happening when he was finishing the roof and the person who is helping him and owns the scaffolding didn't secure it. I'm so thankful it was just his foot and not his head or his life. But our family of 6 could use all the help and prayers. Share if you can. He will be out of work for 4 months.

Our kids are 14, 7, 5, and 8 months. We grew our family from fostering and each adoption came with a pregnancy. Our 7year old son old came to us at almost 4 months old so sick and on nebulizer treatments every 2 hours and when we found out we could adopt we also found out we were pregnant with a son who was in the NICU for a week. A little over a year later we got an email about a 9yr old girl who needed a home and adoption came when she was 12, a few months after that we found out we were pregnant with a girl who also needed to be in the nicu. Any help is appreciated and will go to keeping our house, bills paid and food on the table. Anything will help. God doesn't give us things we can't handle and we pray we make it through.
