Help Seth & Austin Visit all 939 Cities in Iowa!

Hi there! We're Visit939Iowa , and this summer, we're on an adventure to visit all 939 incorporated cities in Iowa!
Our names are Seth Varner and Austin Schneider, and we're a couple of sophomores currently enrolled at the University of Nebraska at Omaha! During the summer of 2020, we set out on a journey to visit all 531 incorporated towns in the state of Nebraska...and we did it! Over the course of about three months, we visited hundreds of towns, met hundreds of people, shared thousands of photos to our Facebook page, and made tons of memories along the way!
After having such great success with our Visit531 adventure, we were encouraged by numerous friends, families, and colleagues to visit another state during the summer of 2021. After debating our options on a road trip to Oklahoma City, Austin and I decided that it would be fun to explore our neighbor across the Mighty Mo'.
As you can probably guess, these trips can get very expensive, especially for a couple of college students! After consulting with many individuals within our Visit531 and Visit939 communities, we have decided to reach out to the people of Iowa to help us fund our adventure across the Hawkeye State.
We estimate that between meals, gas, and lodging, we will likely spend a combined $5,000 in order to successfully visit every town. Any donation money will be used strictly for the following purposes:
Gas: $2,000 spending budget (adjusted as necessary)
Food: $2,000 spending budget (adjusted as necessary-we want to use this whole budget to support local businesses instead of eating at fast food or chain restaurants)
Lodging: $1,000 spending budget (AirBnBs, Cabins, maybe the occasional hotel!)
Vehicle Repair: No budget for now. We didn't have to worry about this in Nebraska, so fingers crossed we won't run into any problems in Iowa! :)
Any remaining funds will be allocated towards the creation of a book that will highlight every incorporated city in the state. It will be full of fun facts, pictures, and information about every city.
Despite having this page for barely a week, we are incredibly grateful to have already gained nearly 2,000 followers. We appreciate the deep outpouring of support that we have received from the Iowa community. We hope that you will all enjoy traveling vicariously with us through the Hawkeye State as we document hundreds of Iowa's small towns, businesses, tourism attractions, restaurants, and more!
