A bit about me!

I am currently training to become a nail technician with The Crown Academy and I hope to gain my qualification online via video streaming by the end of May 2019.

I am based in Huddersfield, England and in the process of setting up my at home salon when Covid-19 hit and now the UK is in lock down. I have been accepted on the Prince's Trust 'Starting a Business Enterprise Scheme' but this has also been put on hold.

In June 2019 I lost my loving and doting Dad in a cycle accident whilst on holiday, it has been a such a difficult year and I know this business venture would make him so proud of me. I wanted to start a creative business which supports my own and other's mental health offering a home from home salon. The Painted Parlour welcomes all ages, all genders and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

I am currently offering acrylic and gel press on nails nationally and internationally. I hope to specialise in alternative and hand drawn designs that any person will feel valued and leave feeling loved.

Your funds and support will help me with the following:

- Gain all the necessary licences, insurances and legal requirements.

- Complete the salon conversion with water, electricity, flooring, equipment needed and the interior.

- Starting products and supplies required to start selling press on nails.

- Funding for print and digital marketing, including soft ware, physical print, advertisements and promotions.

- Support me to take part in other courses and workshops to expand my business offer and develop my skills.
