Help set up a rescue for the Caucasian shepherd.

Hi there. Our names are Mark, Graham and Julie and we are hoping to set up a emergency rescue for any Caucasian shepherd dog that are at risk of being pts. We have all owned this breed for many years and have all bred and rehomed many Caucasians over the years.

There is becoming a major problem with this breed in the UK due to many ending up in shelters. They are a unique breed and not for everyone but as puppies they are the cutest biggest fluffy puppy but grow into big strong stubborn dogs who are very misunderstood. Many are being pts for not having enough training from the owners or even for no reason at all .many vets and rescues don't fully know the breed so advise euthanizia , which we feel is totally wrong.

We have just saved 2 Yr old zeus from death row. After assessing him , he had pure fear aggression but we could see it could be easily worked with.

24 hours after being rescued, he was calm and relaxed and being petted.

Not all rescues are as easy but we believe every co deserves a chance of life and with the right love, experience, environment and training, this can be achieved.

The funding is to help build more kennels, food, equipment. .etc
