Hello, we are Servis Events. Two identical twin brothers, Nicolas and Stephen Servis. We run a fine dinning private chef service in Bucks County focused on creating awareness of local foods, people and products.
We were recently targeted in a credit card scam which cost us over six thousand dollars. We had a guy book us for an event and sent stolen credit cards to be processed, then asked us to help him "pay the bartender" by sending the funds to a separate Venmo account. Because we were the square account holders, when the real credit card holders disputed the charges, square took all of the money back from us, which we didn't have from sending Venmo payments to the "bartender"
We are a community based business, and we need our community to help us out here. This is something that could potentially end Servis Events. Any donation helps, and if you cant donate, at least sharing this so maybe someone who can will see it. We appreciate every little thing that comes our way!
