I’ve had Riley as a service dog for several years. He came from a very unfortunate situation and was in need of rescue when I first met him. Upon becoming disabled Riley really helped me manage my medical issues as well as the psychiatric toll they bring to the table. Yesterday, a tumor attached to his spleen burst causing internal bleeding. I rushed him to the ER as he fell into his water dish just moments before and refused to stand up. We got there just in time and they managed to save his life. Considering my only income is social security due to my condition, the veterinary bill was beyond the amount of funds that I have.

Riley is the best thing that ever happened to me, a lifesaver, a best friend and my soul dog. Riley still has a lot of life left and I plan on him being around as long as possible.
