Serpevsky Igor and Yelena have dedicated their lives to serving others through our Calvary Slavic Church and their adult care business. During a recent Sunday service May 31, 2026; tragedy struck—their home caught fire, and in a matter of minutes, they lost not only their house but also the business they had built and run from home for the past 17 years. The fire, along with smoke and water damage, destroyed all of their belongings, furniture, clothes, and important items.
Igor is known for his deep compassion and willingness to help anyone in need, always serving with a generous heart. Yelena has worked tirelessly from home, caring for disabled adults and making a difference in so many lives. Now, they are facing an incredibly difficult time, as their insurance only covers the structural part of their home and does not include the recent addition they finished to expand their business.
On top of that, they need a place to live for the next year, which insurance will not cover.
I am reaching out to ask for your support for the Serpevsky family. If you feel moved to help, please consider donating and sharing their story with others. Your kindness and generosity can help make this challenging time a little easier as they begin to rebuild.
Thank you for your open heart and support!
