Help Serhii Fight Stage 4 Cancer and Support His Young Family
Just two months ago, Yulia Kyriacha and Serhii Dehtiar were living a normal life - raising their little daughter, working hard, and building their future in a new country.
Today, they are facing the fight of their lives.
Four years ago, Yulia and Serhii moved from Ukraine to the United States with their two-month-old baby girl. They came with the same dream many immigrant families share - to give their child safety, stability, and a better future.
Serhii immediately started working as a truck driver, often spending long days and nights on the road to provide for his family. Yulia stayed home caring for their daughter and creating a loving home while they slowly built their life from scratch.
Two months ago, everything changed.
Serhii became very sick and was first diagnosed with pneumonia. But after further tests, the family received devastating news no one is ever prepared to hear - Stage 4 lung cancer, with metastases to the brain, liver, and bones.
Serhii has already started treatment and is now undergoing radiation therapy, fighting this terrible disease with incredible strength. Sadly, because of his condition, he can no longer work, and the family has suddenly lost their only source of income.
Yulia now spends her days taking Serhii to treatments and caring for their young daughter, trying to stay strong while their whole world has been turned upside down.
While much of the medical treatment is covered, the family still faces many essential daily expenses that cannot wait:
• rent
• gas for transportation to treatments
• daycare for their daughter
• groceries and basic living costs
We are starting this fundraiser to help ease this burden and support Serhii, Yulia, and their little girl during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation will help them focus on what matters most right now - Serhii’s fight for life and time with his family.
Any support, donation, or even sharing this page would mean the world to them.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and prayers.
