Help Sergle Get A Breast Reduction

Hi! I'm Sara, maybe you know me as Sergle, and I'm a freelance artist. I'm working out of my home making body-positive art, and piloting an online store. Also, I've been planning toward a medically necessary, desperately wanted breast reduction for years. Also, I lost every dollar I saved for my surgery this year, after paying the taxes for my business.

You read it right! For an embarrassing number of years, I've been saving up, and I managed to get around 10k. Every dollar of that was meant to go to my surgery, and every dollar has now been drained from my savings. I don't want to linger too long on how devastated I still am by this.

I had initially planned to pay for it myself, and I thought I wasn't going to have to wait long. Now, though, I'm asking for help.

As it is now, my perfectly fitted bra is a 34J. The weight from my chest drags my shoulders forward every day. So much of my time is spent on pain management for my back and shoulders. It's difficult to draw or pack orders for long when my back and shoulders start burning. I'm tired of spending so much money on bras, of sounding like applause when I go down my staircase, of the sweat, of clothes never fitting me, of the bra indents.

Being able to shed some of this weight is a dream scenario for me.

The estimate I've been given is around $15,000 for surgery, and I'm tacking on another $4,000 to help with travel/housing expenses, and any post-op stuff I might need. (I really want to buy a really big pillow)

The surgeon I've picked out is in NYC, and I live in Oklahoma, so I'll be going aways, and of course, I'll have to hold still for at least a few days after surgery, before I can go home to fully recover.

This is hard for me to ask for, and typing this has got my heart rate higher than I'd like- but something about starting from $0 makes me think I really do need the help.
