My name is Sergio, and I’m reaching out for support during a difficult time. I urgently need cataract surgery, but I’m currently unemployed and do not receive federal assistance. The only work I’m able to do right now is walking and caring for pets, but even that has become increasingly challenging as my vision worsens.

This surgery would restore my near vision and allow me to see clearly in front of me without glasses. Being able to see again would make a tremendous difference in my daily life — helping me work safely, regain independence, and care for the animals who rely on me.
