We are asking for support for my brother-in-law, Sergio, a hardworking small business owner who runs Barbecue Rack Rubbers. This isn’t just a side job — it’s his only source of income and how he provides for himself and his family.

Sergio recently invested everything he had into purchasing a brand-new smoker to grow his business and continue doing what he loves: serving great food to his community. Unfortunately, that dream took a devastating hit.

This week, Sergio was struck by a drunk driver, causing serious damage to his equipment — including the smoker he depends on to operate. Because of this, he is unable to work this weekend and is now losing income he relies on to make ends meet.

As a small business owner, missing even a few days of work is a huge setback. Right now, Sergio is facing not only the cost of repairing or replacing his equipment, but also the loss of immediate income due to something completely out of his control.
