Help Sergio Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Hi everyone, my name is Sergio Giron. Recently, Hurricane Helene caused devastating flooding in Boone, and I lost nearly everything. My car was completely submerged, and my apartment was destroyed by the floodwaters, ruining my clothes, laptop, and many precious items that can’t be replaced.

I’m embarrassed to ask for help, but right now, I’m at a loss and feel like everything has been reset. This disaster has struck in the middle of my senior year, and it's been incredibly difficult to recover from. I’m grateful for the love and support I've already received—it’s made this overwhelming situation a little easier to bear. While all these things are material, I’m thankful that my roommate and I are safe, which is what truly matters.
