Help Sergio Heal and Recover After a Devastating Accident

I met Sergio 23 years ago, and from the beginning, he has been one of the kindest, most generous souls I’ve ever known. Always the first to offer help, whether to close friends or complete strangers, Sergio has been there for others through thick and thin. Personally, he supported me during some of my hardest times in the U.S. when I had no safety net. Now, I’m asking for your help to support him.

While on a short visit to Mexico, Sergio was involved in a terrible accident that left him with severe leg injuries, including a shattered tibia and multiple fractures. He is now awaiting urgent surgery that will require the insertion of screws and metal plates to stabilize the bones. After surgery, he will face a long road to recovery, including physical therapy and follow-up care.

Although some medical expenses may be covered by the state, Sergio has lost his job due to his inability to return to the U.S. He won’t be able to work for at least six months as he heals. He urgently needs financial support to cover uncovered medical costs, therapy, and basic living expenses during this time.

If you’ve ever crossed paths with Sergio, you know how selfless and supportive he is. Now it’s our chance to return that kindness.
