Help Sergey Get Life-Saving Ear Surgery and live pain free

Hello!

My name is Renee and I'm Sergy's mom. I adopted this handsome boy 6 years ago. He is such a loving boy and has given me so much joy!! But now, he has inner ear polyps where surgery is needed. We have been dealing with this problem pretty much all of his 6 years. He is extremely strong and very healthy except for the polyps that have grown in both of his middle ears. He has been on medication drops for almost a year, but they are only slowing the polyp growths down only a little bit. His vet said it is time to start considering the surgery on both ears. There is an 80% chance for success! The cost of this surgery is well beyond my means. If Sergey was an older cat, I wouldn't be asking for financial help. He turned 6 years old June 6th of this year, he still has lots of fun and life still left (rides, and walks on his leash, meeting new people!) to experience. This boy is a very sensitive fella. If I'm down, he puts a paw on each side of my face and bumps his nose on my nose. Actually, he does that even when I'm not down. Sergey is like the calm presence in the household. I have to try any idea I can come up with to get this surgery done, or else he will have to be put down. There's no way around this. These polyps are nasty if they are not removed. We thought maybe they would dissipate on their own, or at least not grow more than they have. We've tried to keep them stable up to this point, but I found out yesterday they have grown even more. UPDATE on Sergey

We FINALLY were able to get Sergey in for his C.A.T. scan last week. The good news about all the polyps is that they are central in both middle ears. I was super worried that the polyps were also growing in his nasal cavity. You can get those out but the nasal polyps have a 50% chance of coming back, frequently! Sergey's doctor that will will perform the surgery, this is his specialty removing obstructive tissues and such. Sergey is in competent, very experienced hands! I'm hoping to get Sergey into surgery before Jan 1st. I've been walking and exercising him to keep him strong so he can heal faster!
