Yesterday, our King, was diagnosed with an aggressive tumor called Canine

Hemangiosarcoma. It’s located near his spleen and we have opted to undergo a potentially life saving, yet expensive, surgery. They will remove his spleen and send in a biopsy to figure out the level of aggression of the tumor. We are hoping he makes it through this surgery and is able to live the last few years in his happy place in Colorado, chasing wild hare and digging holes.

The outcome is variable, he may not make it through the night or he may make it 3-6 months or years beyond. All the money donated will be used to pay for the surgery and make him as comfortable as possible.
