Serge is a storm chasing team based in Wisconsin. Founded by the original creators of the Wisconsin Mobile Storm Probe, the Serge team aims to create projects to help the forecasting of severe storms, and making the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

Severe Thunderstorms are one of the most peculiar weather phenomena that we have on this planet, and it is almost impossible for us to predict which specific storms will produce a tornado and when. While we can give out watches ahead of time, we can’t pinpoint when and where. The Serge team aims to try and change that. By going out and examining shifts in environmental variables at the ground level, we hope to be able to improve forecasts to make sure fatalities from unwarned storms lowers as much as possible

We want to accomplish this by breathing a new, invigorating life into the storm chasing field. With our team’s combined knowledge in many different disciplines, combined with our team’s extremely tight knit bonds, we use these qualities to bring an extremely passionate energy to the field where we go.
