My name is Denise Neal, and I’m reaching out during the most difficult time our family has ever faced. My daughter, Serenity Gray, is a bright, loving young woman who graduated high school in May 2024 with dreams of becoming a pediatric nurse. But just weeks later, her health began to decline. After months of searching for answers, countless doctor visits, and two hospital stays, Serenity was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis—a rare and painful condition that affects the lungs and lymphatic system. Then, on April 6, 2025, tragedy struck again. Serenity and I were in a devastating car accident that left us both with neck and back injuries—and without a vehicle. This made it nearly impossible to get to work or attend Serenity’s many urgent medical appointments. On June 7, Serenity suffered a severe flare-up and was hospitalized for 10 days, spending her 19th birthday in a hospital bed. She was later transferred to Clements University Hospital, where she underwent a bronchoscopy and lymph node biopsy. That’s when we finally got the diagnosis. Since then, I’ve had to cut down working consistently to care for Serenity full-time. We’re behind on rent and bills, and without transportation, even basic errands have become overwhelming. But through it all, Serenity has shown incredible strength. In the middle of her hospital stays, she launched a small homemade cookie business—a symbol of her hope and determination. She still dreams of attending Texas A&M University–Commerce to become a nurse and help children facing medical challenges like hers. --- How You Can Help Your support will help us cover: • Medical expenses and medications • Rent, utilities, and essential bills • Transportation to replace the car we lost • ️ Basic living costs while I care for Serenity full-time If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign. Every prayer, every share, every dollar makes a difference. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us. With love and gratitude, Denise & Serenity Gray
