Serenity, my precious daughter, was born 13 weeks early. Her arrival was both a miracle and a challenge, as her tiny lungs weren’t fully developed. Shortly after birth, Serenity was diagnosed with bronchopulmonary dysplasia, a chronic lung disease that has made her first weeks of life a fight for every breath. Watching her in the NICU, surrounded by machines and caring nurses, has been both heartbreaking and inspiring. She is a fighter, and every day she shows us what true strength looks like.

From the very beginning, Serenity’s great granny has been by our side, offering unwavering support and love. Our family has leaned on her strength, especially as we’ve faced the ups and downs of Serenity’s health. Recently, I lost my job, which has made our situation even more challenging. Despite these hardships, our hope to bring Serenity home remains strong.

As Serenity grows stronger, our biggest hope is to bring her home. But to do that safely, we need to make sure our house is ready for her special health care needs. The funds raised will help us prepare our home and provide the medical necessities Serenity needs to thrive outside the hospital. This includes equipment, supplies, and any adjustments needed to create a safe environment for her ongoing care.
