Help Keep Our Family Whole

My name is Serena, and I am asking for help to save my husband’s life and make sure he is here to meet our baby.

A few days ago, what looked like a simple skin infection on my husband’s forehead spiraled into a medical emergency.

The infection spread rapidly and we had to rush him to the emergency room.

After urgent scans, doctors discovered a brain abscess about 4.8 x 4.2 x 3cm in size.

He was immediately admitted and now needs intensive neurosurgical care and prolonged treatment to protect his brain and his life.

My husband is an expectant father who has been counting down the days to meeting our child. He is kind, hard‑working, and the person who always shows up for others. Now he faces brain surgery, a long hospital stay, and months of recovery. The costs of neurosurgery, imaging, medications, and follow‑up care are overwhelming for us, especially as he is unable to work and I am preparing to give birth.

We are fundraising to help cover:

• Neurosurgery and specialist care

• Ongoing imaging, medications, and rehabilitation

• Living expenses while he is unable to work and I care for him and our baby
