The Spiral of Becoming

Beloved hearts,

My poem The Spiral of Becoming was born through my own journey of faith and surrender the path of learning how to deepen into the stillness of the Loving Heart and trust God through all that life brings.

When we have the courage to allow life’s experiences to shape us into instruments for the Divine, we truly find our way Home.

“Through pain, we are sculpted.

Through surrender,

made Divine.

Our brokenness becomes a prism

where unseen worlds sing,

and Love, once again,

finds its way Home.”

The Spiral of Becoming is also the journey inward, one in which each moment invites us to love more, not less; to open our hearts to one another; and to build together the bridges of Light toward a New Earth.

Today, I find myself walking this spiral in a very real and human way and I need to reach out for help.

For the past few years, I have been living in Turkey with my husband, Gabriel. Together we have faced deep challenges including the loss of our home and financial stability. With faith and love, we’ve continued to create through art, poetry, and service, but my health has now reached a critical point.

I suffer from severe hip problems and urgently need a hip replacement surgery. The pain has become extremely difficult to bear; I walk with a cane and will soon need a wheelchair. I also have a few other physical conditions that make daily life increasingly challenging.

As a British citizen, I need to return to the UK to access medical care and support through the healthcare system. However, we simply do not have the funds to make this possible.

What Is Needed Now

My immediate needs include:

-A flight ticket from Turkey to the UK

-Transportation assistance, as I can no longer walk long distances

-A temporary place to stay upon arrival (such as a hotel) until I can register for help and begin the medical process

-Medicine and pain management for my other medical conditions

- Purchase a few warm clothes for arrival in UK

I hope to raise £4,000 / $5,000 to make this journey home and begin my treatment as soon as possible.
