Hi, my name is Serena Cofer, and I’m reaching out for support on my healing journey. I am a single mother of four amazing children (ages 13-20) and a dedicated educator at a learner-led private school, where I have the privilege of guiding young minds on their own Hero’s Journey—helping them discover their strengths and passions.

My own journey this past year has been one of resilience and recovery. I have undergone two hip surgeries on my right hip for a labral tear, and though I have worked hard to heal, I am still struggling with persistent pain and limitations. The last six months have been a mix of progress and setbacks, and recently, the pain has increased rather than improved, making everyday activities and the job I love more challenging.

After extensive research and consultation, I believe that stem cell therapy offers my best chance at full recovery and a return to the active, pain-free life I once enjoyed. Unfortunately, this innovative treatment is not covered by insurance, leaving me with a financial burden.

I have been fortunate to set aside most of the cost from inheritance funds I received, but I need help to cover the remaining portion. That’s why I am reaching out for support—so I can fully heal and get back to the things that bring me joy—hiking, biking, snowboarding, dancing, and most importantly, being the best mom I can be to my kids.
