Hello, my name is Brian Morgan, and I am the very proud father of Serena Morgan. Serena is my oldest daughter and this year we were blessed by God to be introduced to a sport and passion we did not know existed with our daughter: Track & Field. Serena was introduced to Track & Field by her high school teacher and coach. He invited her out and she went to see what it was about, and the rest has been historic. Serena is the very definition of a student-athlete, carrying a 4.4 GPA and excelling academically. When the season started in March this year, she threw very much like a newbie to the sport, but every week she got better, slowly but surely. After breaking the Lake Minneola freshman record and now being placed #4 all-time for the high school's girl all-time record, we joined Windspeed Athletes to grow her development and talent. She has grown throughout the summer already and today, June 25th, qualified for the AAU State Championships, which will be held July 8th-13th.
As with everything else, there is a cost, and we need help making it happen for her. She has qualified for AAU State Championships in Javelin, ranking 3rd in our state region, and will throw in two other field qualifying events this week in an attempt to qualify for shot put and discus. We would appreciate any donation that will help us get to the championships, while also purchasing her own javelin (which can range from $250 & up) for competition level and case. Thank you for helping us :)
