Help Seraphina Achieve Their Chaplaincy Dream

Hello friends,

As many of you may know, last year I received an unexpected offer from a friend to help support me as I shift careers from technology to my heart's desire of working as a chaplain and becoming a rabbi.

Circumstances changed for that person, as they often do. Finances are complicated, and the uncertainty of the world is such that, as we know, plans do not always work out the way that we need them to.

Unfortunately, their inability to support me has very real financial consequences for me for the next year. I simply cannot afford the things that I need in order to make this changeover work while I complete an internship and residency in Clinical Pastoral Education and get certified.

So I am turning to all of you in the hopes that you can offer me some chesed (lovingkindness) in the form of financial mutual aid. I've already arranged to take a roommate and cut down my bills as much as possible so that I can make the most of any donations I receive, but in order to make it through the next year, I need approximately $15,000 in aid and support.
