My name is Elissa, and I created this fundraiser to help my sister Sera, and my nieces Julia and Cora, recover from the tragic loss of their husband and father, Sam, to the horrible disease ALS. 

On April 7th, 2022, Sammy passed away in his home after a six-year battle with ALS. He was only 45.

Sera, Julia, and Cora have not left his side and took care of all of his needs in their home. It was tireless work, as a person with ALS loses their ability to move and requires around-the-clock care. 

Since Sam lost his ability to work when he was only 39 and didn't have life insurance, I would like to raise some money to give Sera time to rest and recover and help the girls with college expenses.  Julia is a sophomore in college and Cora will be attending as a freshman in the fall.
