Meet Sequoia:
Sequoia is a bright, two-year-old Black Labrador whose joyful spirit has touched everyone she meets. From the moment we adopted her at just eight weeks old, she has been a source of endless love, loyalty, and companionship. Whether she is making friends at the park or bringing warmth to our home, Sequoia is the sweetest, most loving girl you could ever hope to meet.
The Battle with Aspergillosis:
Recently, Sequoia’s joyful energy has been sidelined by extreme nasal discomfort. After multiple vet visits and treatments with antihistamines—which only left her tired and lethargic without providing relief—she was referred to a specialist.
The specialist discovered Aspergillosis, a painful fungal infection in her nasal passages.
Why this is critical: * If left untreated, the fungus can cause permanent damage to her nasal cavity and it can spread to her brain, becoming highly dangerous.
The Treatment Plan and Costs:
To give Sequoia a second chance at a pain-free life, the specialist has outlined a comprehensive treatment plan that requires:
A thorough CT scan to map the infection.
General anesthesia for her safety and comfort during the procedure.
Surgical removal of the fungus from her nasal passages.
The total estimated cost for this specialized care ranges between $6,000 and $8,000.
How Your Support Helps:
As retired individuals living on a fixed income, the cost of this procedure is overwhelming. We are humbly asking our community, animal lovers, and friends to step in and help us give Sequoia the care she so deeply deserves.
Donate: No contribution is too small. Every dollar brings us closer to getting Sequoia the surgery she needs.
