Sephy has put so much time, energy, and money into being the best version of herself that we know she already is. It takes a lot to transition – from therapy to electrolysis to surgery, and so much more. We have all watched her progress over the years and yet there is still more progress to be made. For her birthday, let’s help her out on this amazing and wonderful journey that she has been on!
There are many costs involved in this process and while insurance covers some of it, there is quite a bit not covered. This includes supplemental costs that add up quickly. It would be a great gift to help ease some of the financial pressure that comes with this process. Here are some of the things your donation will help with:
Post-facial surgery needs
Sephy has had her first surgery and is currently recovering. Donations will help during this recovery period for:
- New contacts, specialty drops, and eye exams for improving vision problems from the surgery.
- Travel costs for all the needed medical appointments.
- Cosmetics – a new face needs new cosmetic supplies!
Second surgery needs
Sephy is working towards her second surgery which is more involved with a longer recovery period. Donations will help during this time for:
- Meeting the annual deductible for 2024 – This will go a long way if met before the second surgery!
- Electrolysis – Each treatment includes $100 out of pocket for lidocaine injection and there are at least four more treatments before the second procedure can be scheduled.
- Stocking up on groceries and comfort items prior to the second surgery recovery.
Second surgery recovery needs
Recovery for the second surgery will be a long road and donations will help with:
- Durable medical equipment: compression wraps, ice packs, dilators, etc.
- Wound care supplies.
- Follow-up medications, temporary prescriptions, and over the counter medications.
- Clothes & undergarments for her new body.
