Hello friends, family, and animal lovers.

Nick and I received the disheartening news that our cat, Senua, may have kidney disease.

We are extremely saddened but hopeful we can treat her and give her a long, happy life. Nick and I found her behind our house almost 8 years ago and have loved her every day since, so we only want the best for her.

In order to receive the proper tests and treatment to find out next steps, we have to pay the vet around $2,000. This will give us a better understanding of what stage she is in and how long she will have. We originally went in because Senua was not eating as much and had lost a significant amount of weight. During this visit, we found out her teeth have been rotting and causing pain, which is a big reason she hasn’t been eating. In order to treat her teeth, it is another $2,000. As you can imagine, Nick and I are extremely worried for Senua’s health.
