We are reaching out asking for help, which we hate doing as we were taught differently growing up, but we are desperate. The past several weeks has been one nightmare after another.

Several weeks ago a tree company removing branches, etc.. for a solar panel company knocked out our power which caused several appliances to burn out not to mention that we were without heat for 30+ hours. We had the heating company come out and we had to dish out over $400+ to have a new ignition box put in furnace. The power outage also affected our stove (have no oven..can't bake etc..) refrigerator, TV, and few other small appliances which we had to put out our own money for repairs/replacement and currently waiting on reimbursement. The Tree Company acknowledges they were in the wrong and accept responsibility but have been giving us a run-around. (it has been over a month now) We certainly can't afford a lawyer to take them to court if it comes to that point.

We also have to have a shed torn down and removed that our insurance company demanded we get done before December 12 or they won't renew our homeowners policy. More added expense which has basically left us pretty much broke at this point.

We are seniors on Social Security and it is not much and we have a very tight and limited budget. This is why we do shows, not only as vendors but as promoters as well to supplement income but what a lot of people don't understand is that it costs money to rent a venue, pay for advertising, guests, etc.. It is also a hit or miss as many of you are aware, you can have a great show one week and the next lucky if you even make your table monies back. We have helped many in their times of trouble and we hope you'll do the same for us.

The monies we put out were to be used for bills, mortgage, etc..
