This GoFundMe was created on behalf of Senior’s family.

Raymond Garcia Sr. AKA Senior, has been courageously fighting colon cancer, but recently he has received devastating news — his liver can no longer handle the chemotherapy treatments, and doctors have advised that he be moved to hospice care. They have given him only about two months to live. This has been an incredibly difficult time for his family as they try to come to terms with the reality of losing such a loving husband, father, and friend.

Anyone who knows Senior knows how much he loves the game of softball and the amazing community that surrounds it. He has spent countless years on the field whether it be playing, coaching, or cheering others on, and has built many friendships through the sport he loves so much. Senior is truly loved by so many within the softball community, and now we’re asking that same community to come together to support him and his family during this heartbreaking time.

We are starting this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden so the family can focus on what truly matters, which is spending precious time with Senior and making every moment count.
