Help Senior Keep Her Service Dog

Donation protected
Sandy-Lynn Elledge is a multi-disabled individual with low and declining vision and movement challenges due to childhood polio. Due to her multiple disabilities, she had difficulty getting a service dog for her low and declining vision through normal channels. A local dog trainer found and trained a dog, "Izzy", a 7-year-old dog that was rescued from a shelter where he was on the kill list to be Sandy-Lynn's service dog.

Izzy has persistent ear problems due to allergies and has to be on special ear medication (Apoquel) for the rest of his life, as well as special dog food (Royal Canin Hydrolized Protein), to help with his allergies.

Sandy-Lynn and her husband are on a fixed income, and the cost of the continued medication, vet visits and prescription dog food are an issue that may keep Sandy-Lynn from being able to keep Izzy as her service dog. Izzy is critical to maintaining Sandy-Lynn's independence.

Your donation will be placed in a special bank account just for Izzy's medical expenses to ensure the continued care of Izzy and allow him to remain as a service dog for Sandy-Lynn.

Thank you so much for your support!
