We are a senior couple who have been renting our apartment for 19 years. Recently, we’ve experienced repeated sewer backups in our kitchen, making it impossible to live safely and comfortably. The situation has become urgent, and we now need to move everything out of our kitchen, get physical help to do so, and hopefully find another place to live that we can move to at some point.

This is especially stressful as we are just one week away from Christmas. Both of us are on a fixed income, and we simply cannot afford the costs of moving, hiring help, or securing a new home on our own. We are reaching out to our community for support during this difficult time, hoping that your kindness can help us get through this challenge.
