Help Send Young Team USA Kayaker to Worlds
Donation protected
Hello family, friends, and all
This last year has been such a whirlwind of school and training and even more training, but it has all paid off as I am happy to announce that I was recently selected to compete for Team USA at Worlds in Hungary and Olympic Hopes Regatta in Slovakia. I have dedicated the last four years to extensively training for this sport I have fallen in love with, including attending team boat camps and races around the US.
I recently competed at the Sprint National Championships in Ohio, an intensive 4-day race where they would determine the final selection for the Worlds and OHR teams. I successfully obtained 3 bronze medals in the K2 500M, K2 200M, and K4 200M, 1 silver medal in the K4 500M, and advanced to every K1 final, making a stellar showing, resulting in me being chosen to represent the USA. On the 24th of this month, I will be starting my international competitive journey.
As you may have noticed, sprint kayaking is more of an unknown sport, and sadly not well funded. Athletes are expected to cover all individual expenses (race fees, travel, and accommodations). So now I ask for your support, whether that be through encouragement and good luck, and/or through financial contributions. Thank you for however you choose to support me.
You can watch me race at Worlds from August 31st-September 4th in Szeged, Hungary.
You can watch me race at Olympic Hopes Regatta September 8th-September 11th in Bratislava, Slovakia.
