Hi everyone!
For those who don’t know me, my name is Vanessa Ayala and I am an inline speed skater from South Florida. I have been skating for almost two decades and since then I have been dreaming of skating at the world level among the best of the best. For the last 4 years, I have been dedicated fully to this sport to make this goal a reality.
This May was my third time participating in US team trials and I was able to earn a spot on Team USA! I now have the honor of representing the US at the 2019 World Roller Games in Barcelona in July.
The World Roller Games is a biennial event which will take place this year between July 4th to the 14th. There will be about 400 athletes representing 115 countries competing in 11 different roller skating disciplines.
While participating in the event is truly a privilege, unfortunately each athlete is required to pay their own way. I am fundraising to cover my main expenses for this trip which includes airfare ($1000), hotel and coaches fees ($2,500), and food ($500).
I would sincerely appreciate any help, whether through monetary donations or by sharing this page with your friends.
