Help send us to the international thespian festival!

We are Kingston, Daniel, and Mia, three dedicated students from Newberg High School's theater program who have been given the opportunity to attend and compete at the International Thespian Festival in Indiana, June 23rd through June 28th. This event is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us to gain new knowledge about theater, meet other students who share our passion, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

We have worked extremely hard to be able to attend this festival. Back in February, we competed at our annual Regional competition where we earned “Superior” ratings on our performances which put us in the top 10% of the performers at regionals, allowing us to qualify for ITF (International Thespian Festival). We are incredibly passionate about the art of theater. We have all been a part of Newberg High School's theater program for many years, with two of us even serving on our school’s thespian board. Being able to attend the International Thespian Festival would not only be a great honor for us, our school, and our theater community, but it would also be a wonderful learning experience that would help us grow as performers and individuals.

Any donations, big or small, would be greatly appreciated and would help us make our dream of attending the International Thespian Festival a reality. Our goal is raise about $5,000 for the three of us. These will cover the fees for the event, housing, food, and the plane tickets there and back.

For a couple of us, this festival would be our last memories of high school before we go our separate ways. It would be an experience that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. That is why we are reaching out to ask for your help. We are committed students and performers who have dedicated endless amounts of time to our theater community, and we would be forever grateful for any support that you can provide.
