Help Send UC Davis Esports Team to Cincinnati

Hello! My name is Kevin Deras-Guerra and I am the team captain of the EaUCD Rainbow Six: Siege team. We are a student-run organization based at UC Davis and for the past three and a half years, we have competed at the national level in the Rainbow Six: Siege collegiate space. In our inaugural season, we were in the middle of the pack, barely qualifying for the postseason in our leagues. Our team continued to put in the effort to improve, all while balancing work and school on top of our daily practices. Towards the end of last year, we went undefeated in our season and qualified for a tournament in Columbus, Ohio. While excited, we were not hopeful to attend, as our university program does not provide sufficient funds to cover such an expense. We set up a fundraiser as a longshot attempt to make it. To our surprise, the generosity of the community allowed us to raise enough funds to travel to Ohio. Competing at the tournament was a once-in-a-lifetime event that we are all incredibly thankful for.

Riding off the success last year we came out to a strong start in our season and have qualified to a tournament in Cincinnati in April. Unfortunately, our program continues to be underfunded, so we are reaching out to the community to help send our team to Cincinnati. All donations would go to cover our airfare, lodging, and meals across our four-day trip. We want to thank everyone for their amazing support both by watching our games live and donating, it inspires us to work even harder and we hope to make Davis proud. Go Ags!
