Help send Thurber Improv to Ottawa

Donation protected
The Canadian Improv Games has been inspiring high school students for over 40 years, teaching listening, collaboration, creativity, and confidence. Every year at the National Festival, students have the ability to network and learn from professional improvisers from all over the world through workshops, panels, jams, and shows.  The Lindsay Thurber CIG Team from Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School in Red Deer, Alberta recently achieved silver medals in their regional tournament, and was named one of the top six finalists from across the country as part of the National Festival's Online Wild Card Tournament. Nine of these students are seeking a trip to Ottawa to attend Nationals as a festival team, and are seeking donations for their trip costs (airfare, hotel, transportation, festival registration) this April. These students are positive ambassadors of their school and community, and have demonstrated incredible positivity and team work.  Please consider helping share the love of the arts with these driven students by making a donation and sharing this page, so that they can grow as improvisers and bring new skills and techniques back to their school and their city.  Thank you so much!
*Please note that these donations are to individual students' families, and not to the school itself; therefore, no tax receipts can be given.
