Send Team USA to U23 Rowing World Championships!

We recently qualified to represent the United States in the women's lightweight quad at U23 World Rowing Championships which is being held in Račice, Czech Republic from July 7-11. This is the premier event of the year for under-23 rowers in the world.  The championships usually attracts up to 1000 rowers from around the world, with 22 boat classes competing.

The costs of rowing for the US national team are high - between training costs, boat rentals, plane tickets, lodging, and the national team fees, the total expenses for the four of us are expected to be well over $15,000. The rowers in the TeamUSA lightweight women’s U23 quad boat are Grace Beery (rising senior at Boston University), Izzie Begley (rising junior at Syracuse University), Grace D'Souza (recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison), and Ruthie Lacy (rising sophomore at Oklahoma City University).
