The MPE Mighty Pringles are going to DI Globals, and we need your help to get there!

The Mighty Pringles, the 4th grade Destination Imagination Team from Merriman Park Elementary, are headed to the Global Finals Tournament in Kansas City! The team earned their spot at Globals (May 22-25) after placing 2nd in the Fine Arts division at the Lone Star State Finals.

These incredible kids worked diligently for 6+ months to create a script, set, and performance that answers the question "What is something small that has a big impact"? While solving for this challenge, they had to embrace the minimalist theme of "Less is More", working with a small budget to build a minimalist set that created a big theatrical effect. Their presentation also won the DaVinci Award for truly embodying the minimalist theme in unique and innovative ways. Additionally, they won the High IC Award for earning the highest score in a separate category called Instant Challenge.

Now, we need your help to get to Globals!

The Mighty Pringles is the only elementary team representing Richardson ISD this year! The team is asking for support from the community to help them reach their goal and represent their school and district at Globals!

We need to raise $8,000 in the next month to cover:

✅ Registration fee (this fee alone is $5,500!)

✅ Travel & lodging for the team

✅ Meals and other expenses
