Help send the Illinois Trial Team to Nationals!

The Illinois Trial Team is going to Nationals… but we need your help!!! This year the Illinois Trial Team finished the Opening Round Championship competition with a 6-2 record, but unfortunately, this was not enough to get us a bid to Nationals. We could not have been closer as we were a single ballot point or half a CS point away from a Nationals bid! Instead of getting a Nats bid, we were placed at the very top of the open bid list. This result was heartbreaking for our competitors who worked so hard all season and got so close, but now, we have a glimmer of hope! The American Mock Trial Association asked the Illinois Trial Team to be the stand-by team at Nationals this year. This means we would travel to Memphis, TN, and if a team gets sick, has travel issues, or for whatever reason can’t come, the ITT would get to compete at Nationals! This is incredibly exciting as the ITT hasn’t been to Nationals since 2017! But in order to go, we need your help! Since we are not guaranteed the opportunity to compete, we do not have funding to go to Nats. We are trying to raise $1,000 by April 14th to send the ITT to Nationals for the first time in 6 years!
