Keep Pulling Goes to FISU America Games
Every athlete aspires to be selected for Team USA — and once again, Keep Pulling has the opportunity to be part of that journey.
Keep Pulling’s own Andrea Barrows has earned selection to represent the United States at the 2026 FISU America Games in Lima, Peru (July 19–24).
As a result of her qualification, I’ve been selected to serve as the Head Coach of the Women’s Weightlifting Team for Team USA — an incredible honor and responsibility at an international, multi-sport competition.
While Team USA athletes may receive partial support, coaching and staff positions for this event are fully self-funded.
As the Head Coach, I will be responsible not only for supporting Andrea, but also the entire women’s team throughout the competition as well as assisting with the men’s team due to limited staff.
--------------------------
The estimated cost for this trip includes:
- Registration, lodging, and team expenses ($1,900)
- Airfare to Peru (~$600)
Our fundraising goal of $2,500 is based on the overall estimated costs for this trip, including travel, lodging, and team-related expenses.
Part of our fundraising efforts may also include additional initiatives, but we’ve created this page for those who would like to support the trip directly.
--------------------------
All overflow funds will go directly toward supporting the rest of this international team, helping offset expenses for a group of competitors and staff who are also largely funding this opportunity out of pocket.
Every contribution — no matter the size — helps make this opportunity possible. We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support, and proud to represent our community and Team USA on the international stage!
No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or promotions are offered in exchange for any donations made to your GoFundMe.
