Help send Tanya to Art School
So back in the deep depths of covid lockdown my oldest friend asked "what do you want to do when covid was over?"
I said "go back to art school", Sort of serious, sort of wishful thinking.
The reason being was, when I left school I applied to go to art school. Most art schools at the time were University run except the National Art school. I applied for both and got accepted in to the Collage of fine arts (COFA) and The National Art School (NAS) but because of parental pressure I ended up going to COFA (as it was university) I didn't enjoy my time there and never finished my degree.
I have always regretted not going to NAS and not completing my degree.
So fast forward to 2020 I went to the NAS with my very thin portfolio for an interview for the BA of fine arts with very little hope of getting in.
However just before Christmas I received this offer to attend the Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2021. I was going to turn it down as it is a full time course and how the hell am I going to pay rent and study full time?!?!?!
Anyway after 2 bottles of Rosé and a heap of encouragement from friends. I have accepted the offer!
Due to covid 19 hitting the Arts and Entertainment industry hard, I have had to spend a lot of my savings on day to day living expenses. So now I am seeking funding to help with my tuition fees, rent and art supplies.
I would be most grateful for your financial assistance in realising my dream to study art at this renowned art school.
