My name is Joseph M. Griffin, and I am proud to say that I am one of the original Philadelphia Striders athletes. I’ve had the honor of being part of this incredible track family and organization for over 30 years.

Coach Malcolm Pace is more than just our head coach — he is a father figure, mentor, and guiding light to so many of us. His unwavering commitment, leadership, and compassion have shaped generations of athletes, both on and off the track.

Through his dedication, Coach Pace has built a community that stretches far beyond the lanes and finish lines. He’s instilled in us the values of discipline, perseverance, and self-belief — even when the odds were stacked against us.

Today, we’re asking for your support to help carry that legacy forward. We are raising $15,000 to help send our youth athletes to the AAU National Track Meet in Jacksonville, Florida and Houston Texas. These funds will cover travel, lodging, and other essential expenses so these young runners can gain the many needed experience, exposure, and competitive edge that i youth get from performing on a national stage.
