It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the tragic passing of our beloved Jose Matos who left us this morning.
Heartbroken does not begin to describe how we feel right now. While we are all coping with disbelief, we deeply appreciate the overwhelming support from those that have reached out. We want to organize an effort for the Matos family as they deal with this tragedy. He was a selfless son, compassionate brother and the most loyal friend and husband. He was full of joy and energy, always finding a way to make others around him laugh. He is the glue that held the family together, and his only priority in life was to secure the best future possible for his family.
We would like to give him the final going home that he deserves and honor his wish which was to be with his mom and dad in Portugal. So we are asking for help to do exactly that. All donations, small or large, are greatly valued and will help with expensive for transportation and services. Thank you all in advance.
His memory will live in our hearts forever <3
