Help Send Reese to South Africa!

Hello, My name is Reese Lawson of West Salem, and I just competed in the Oregon Wrestling Cultural Exchange Championships 2023. I was able to take first and win my weight class to make the team. The team travels to different locations each summer. This July/August the Oregon Cultural Exchange team will be traveling to South Africa for three weeks.

  To get to know me a little before I tell you more about South Africa, my name is Reese Lawson. I am the 145 lb wrestler for the Titans and the first-ever women's state champ for West! I've had tremendous success this season with a perfect 28-0 record... One of my goals is to be able to wrestle in college and this would help me get myself out there and get a feel for that next level of wrestling. Im very excited to be able to take this big new step in my wrestling journey and get to see a new level of wrestling and experience this life-changing trip.

  Wrestling girls in South Africa and representing my community is a great way to experience another culture and way of life. Any donations help!

  The Oregon Wrestling Cultural Exchange program has a very strong history. It dates back to 1962. And I would love to be a part of this great opportunity! The cost of the trip is VERY expensive. That is why I am coming to you as a community-minded business/individual, I need support to be able to experience this life-changing trip. I have limited time to raise the money.

  I would seriously and genuinely appreciate any financial assistance that you would be willing to give to me. I want to make this trip of a lifetime a reality. I have worked so very hard over the years to make a team of this caliber. I am looking forward to competing against South African wrestlers. This is also an amazing way to be able to experience another culture and way of life. We will be staying with host families while in South Africa.
