Help Send Peyton to Morehead State

My name is Jo Mackby, one of the hosts of the long-running Old Time music jam in Lexington, Kentucky. We lovingly call ourselves a "jamily" -- a jam family -- because we look out for one another.

Peyton Byrns has been a cherished member of our group since his first session with us. More than a talented musician, he is also a delightful person who brings light to every room he enters. Peyton is a multi-instrumentalist and singer, with a keen interest in luthiery, who returned to his Kentucky home place, after growing up overseas on military bases where his parents were (and still are) stationed. We share his excitement about pursuing his ambitions at Morehead State University this Fall, where he will be a freshman studying toward his bachelor's degree from The Kentucky Center for Traditional Music.

But in Peyton's words, "college ain't cheap!" So, whether you have pennies or benjamins to spare, let's help this determined young person get to Morehead, and beyond...
