Our dear friend Patricia is now facing the most difficult challenge of her life, and we want to share her story as she fights to overcome cancer. Having dedicated years to supporting countless cancer patients, Patricia now finds herself in need of support. The cost of her treatment is significant, and any financial assistance would greatly ease the burden.

Her husband Johnny, who has a business in the tourism sector and is a gifted folklore storyteller has taken over the role of full time carer. This along with one of their children's health crisis has put extra stress on the family.

Patricia, a former national triathlon champion for her country, is a devoted wife and mum and has called Ireland home for the past 15 years. She is one of the best, most loyal friends anyone could have and has a wry sense of humour, along with an endearing Swiss Paddy accent!

At the age of 28, a diagnosis of rare ocular melanoma, inspired her to pursue a career in nutrition. Since then, she has become a world-renowned expert in nutritional and metabolic therapies for cancer patients. Over the years, Patricia has helped so many people through their illness with calm ,loving support, backed up by her wealth of knowledge in all areas of cancer treatment

As a founding member of the AWARE Clinic—an innovative centre specialising in integrative cancer therapies—she works alongside leading international oncologists. A sought-after speaker, she is also the co-author of the best-selling book The Ketogenic Kitchen.

Despite a worrying prognosis, Patricia remained in remission for many years until this year, when the cancer metastasised. With options in Ireland having come to a halt, her hope now rests on a course of integrative oncology treatments abroad.
