Help Send our Teams to Nationals - June 2023!

*UPDATE* On February 6th at approximately 4:20pm, our Team Trailer was STOLEN from our Home rink (Las Vegas Ice Center). Many of us were actually on the ice when it happened. Not only did the thieves take the trailer, but many of our props, supplies, costumes, and banners were in at the time. We are devastated and just want our trailer back! Please keep an eye out for it! If it is not returned, insurance will pay for some of the loss, but we will need to pay the deductible and a lot of what was in it won't be covered. We will definitely need additional funds to help replace the items that were stolen. Any support you can give means the world to our Teams!! Thank you in advance!

Las Vegas Ice Theatre is the first and ONLY Theatre on Ice Program in the entire state of Nevada and the teams are working hard towards their goal of competing at the National Theatre on Ice Competition this June in Fraser, Michigan! For the first time ever, Las Vegas Ice Theatre hopes to send TWO teams to Nationals - their Nationally ranked Novice Team and their brand new Preliminary Team!

LAS VEGAS ICE THEATRE is a youth sports organization with a total of 29 skaters aged 9-17 years old. They train bright and early on Saturday mornings and they are determined to bring home another National Medal! They are fundraising to help offset the enormous cost of ice time, travel, and especially, the National Competition - a week-long event that brings in a hundred teams from all over the United States.

Preparing for a challenging event this big takes not only time but also a lot of money to cover team registration fees, practice ice, competition entry fees, and travel fees. The goal of the Las Vegas Ice Theatre program is to develop skaters and help them to focus on their goals, not financial obstacles. Many of our talented skaters could not even consider participating without the support of our community. Your contributions show each skater that you care about their future and that they truly can achieve their dreams when they work hard. At such an impressionable age, these skaters will feel encouraged by your support. By investing in them, you are not only investing in our community but inspiring them to do the same...as our future leaders, our future performers, our future coaches, teachers, and choreographers.

The Las Vegas Ice Theatre program operates under the Skating Club of Nevada (a 501c Non-Profit Organization) and ALL donations are tax-deductible! All donations made through GoFundMe go directly to the Team (minus the convenience fees). **The Skating Club of Nevada is a not-for-profit organization that promotes a safe and welcoming environment for all of our skaters and families. The primary purpose of the SC of Nevada is to help develop skaters of all ages in the different areas of figure skating. Please help the Las Vegas Ice Theatre Teams on their journey!! We simply cannot make it to Nationals without the generosity of our supporters!

There are very few opportunities in figure skating to really work with other skaters and create a sense of camaraderie. Figure skating itself is an individually based sport, but a Theatre on Ice team brings numerous figure skaters together to create an entirely new art form (and sport) on the ice. The team is able to tell a story much like an entire cast of a play or a large dance group.
