Hi, we are Charlie, Matthew & Tom. We all live in the Dartmouth area and have attended 1st Dartmouth Scout Group from Beavers through to Scouts.

Every 4 years, the Danish Scout Association organises a national camp with over 30,000 participants. Each time they extend an invitation out to Scouts around the world. In 2022 almost 5,000 international Scouts from 52 countries were invited. We have been selected as 3 of only 20 Scouts from Devon to attend the 2026 Jamboree.

Attending the Denmark Jamboree will be a once in a lifetime opportunity where we will not only be able to complete 50% of the international requirement for the King’s Scout Award (which is the highest award you can achieve as an Explorer Scout) but also develop many different skills and international connections that we will be able to use to help the local community through our various volunteer roles.

As well as the jamboree itself, we are required to attend 3 training camps plus information evenings, and must raise £1,400 each to cover the costs associated with the trip.

We will be organising a variety of events to raise funds for this and we would be very grateful for any donation you are able to make.
